چکیده

the study of flight vehicle structures reveals the importance of obtaining the most suitable accuracy compatible with construction. for this purpose, several experiments were conducted at the agard institute. in this paper the results of one such experiment performed on a sample airplane wing are presented. aircraft structural engineers use several methods to model these structures. specifing how efficient and accurate each of these methods are, allows us to choose a suitable method for the purpose of modelling these structures. this paper presents the author's study on this subject and offers a suitable model possessing the required accuracy and efficiency in aircraft structural engineering.

Numerical Wing/Store Interaction Analysis of a Parametric F16 Wing

A new numerical methodology to examine fluid-structure interaction of a wing/pylon/store system has been developed. The aeroelastic equation of motion of the complete system is solved iteratively in the time domain using a two-entity numerical code comprised of ABAQUS/Standard and the Unsteady-Vortex-Lattice Method. Both codes communicate through an iterative handshake procedure during which di...

Modeling, simulation and analysis of a multi degree of freedom aircraft wing model

This paper presented methods to determine the aerodynamic forces that acton an aircraft wing during flight. These methods are initially proposed for asimplified two degree-of-freedoms airfoil model and then are extensivelyapplied for a multi-degree-of-freedom airfoil system. Different airspeedconditions are considered in establishing such methods. The accuracy of thepresented methods is verifie...

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

Robust MRAC for a Wing Rock Phenomenon in Delta Wing Aircrafts

Wing rock phenomenon is an undesired motion appears in high angles of attack where a rolling in the aircraft in positive and negative roll angles with specified amplitude and frequency is occurred. In this paper two adaptive controllers suggested to control the rolling dynamics under wing rock phenomenon for a delta wing aircraft with presence of disturbance. Disturbance was considered as unmat...
